Serenje (02nd October 2025) – Families in the remotest corners of Serenje District can now breathe a sigh of relief after the Government handed over two fully equipped ambulances to the district under the Constituency Development Fund (CDF), a milestone hailed as life-saving for thousands of residents.

The ambulances, destined for Serenje Central and Muchinga constituencies, are part of a national programme that has seen the Government distribute 119 ambulances to constituencies across the country.

Speaking during the handover ceremony, Guest of Honour Mr. Paul Masuwa described the development as “not just the handing over of keys, but giving healthcare professionals the tools they need to save lives.”
