Kelvin Kampamba Has Recently Teamed Up With Al Nasser.

Zambian midfielder Kelvin Mubanga Kampamba has secured his inaugural international deal by signing with Libyan club Al Nasser, departing from his previous position at Super League side Zesco United.

While currently in Ivory Coast with the national team for the Africa Cup of Nations (AfCON), Kampamba’s move to Al Nasser was officially announced on the club’s Facebook page on Sunday night. The club warmly welcomed the dynamic attacking midfielder, describing him as a “Speed, Speeding high attacking midfielder” and Zambia’s national team playmaker.

Al Nassar, a two-time league-winning team in Libya, currently leads stream A of the Libyan Premier League with an impressive 20 points after eight games played. The Libyan league is divided into two streams, each consisting of ten teams.

Kampamba’s departure may pose a challenge for Zesco United, given his influential role in their ongoing title pursuit. Notably, he shares the position of the club’s top scorer, having netted seven goals in the current season.

Zesco are yet to confirm his departure.
