Graham Potter set for a return to the Premier League

Former Chelsea manager Graham Potter is reportedly poised to make a return to the English Premier League, this time with Leicester City, months after his contract with the Blues was terminated.

Several reports indicate that Leicester City has reached out to Graham Potter’s camp as they seek a replacement for Enzo Maresca, who recently left the Foxes to join Chelsea. Potter was previously linked with a potential move to Ajax at the end of the 2023-24 season, but he reportedly declined the Dutch club’s offer.

Additionally, Potter is rumored to be a candidate for the England national team manager position, with Gareth Southgate’s future beyond the European Championship still uncertain. Potter has been out of management for over a year since being sacked by Chelsea in April 2023. Leicester City hopes to secure a skilled manager who can help them maintain their Premier League status in the coming season.

Under Maresca’s leadership, the Foxes earned promotion by finishing top of the league with 97 points, securing 31 wins out of 46 games.
