Dalitso Lungu demands apology and K5 million compensation from Prime TV!

Dalitso Lungu, son of the late Sixth Republican President Edgar Chagwa Lungu, has formally demanded a public apology, a full retraction and K5 million in compensation from Prime Television Zambia following what he describes as false and defamatory claims aired by the station.

Through his legal representatives, Lungu has written to Prime TV disputing a report in which it was alleged that he had been summoned and interrogated by the Drug Enforcement Commission (DEC) in connection with ongoing investigations. Lungu has firmly denied ever being called in or questioned by the DEC.

His lawyers argue that the broadcast has damaged his reputation, especially at a time when his family is grieving the death of former President Lungu.
