The Copper Queens have arrived in Morocco ahead of the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations -WAFCON- tournament that kicks off next month.

The team touched down at the King Mohammed V international airport in Casablanca at 12:45 Moroccan time.
And Copper Queens Captain BARBRA BANDA says the team is ready for the tournament.
BANDA says the girls have been training hard despite still trying to adapt to the playing style of the technical bench.
She says the team is eager to get into action as they target to qualify for the World Cup.
BANDA was speaking during a webinar held by the Confederation of African Football -CAF- for some star players that will be playing at the WAFCON.

She said despite heading into the tournament with good global records, her target is to be a team player and guide the Copper Queens to glory.
BANDA said she is not under pressure but will do her best to help the squad.

BANDA was among the three foreign-based players that touched down in Morocco, becoming the first to arrive while the local contingent joined them later on as they start their pre-tournament camp.
