Black Sherif hints at upcoming collaboration with Mabel, teasing new music.

Ghanaian artist Black Sherif has teamed up with English-Swedish singer Mabel for a fresh collaboration titled “Zero.”

Taking to social media, Black Sherif teased snippets of the visuals for his upcoming song “Zero,” featuring Mabel. The Ghanaian-born singer expressed gratitude, stating, “Art we made at our most vulnerable state, thank you for performing with me @Mabel ZERO out on Friday.” The release date for the track is scheduled for February 9, 2024. Mabel confirmed the collaboration by sharing the teased snippet of the visuals.

Earlier this year, Black Sherif released a new single titled “January 9th” in celebration of his birthday. Additionally, Black Sherif contributed to the soundtrack compilation of Michael B. Jordan’s movie, Creed III. The track “Blood, Sweat and Tears,” where Black Sherif collaborated with Bas and Kel-P, was part of the star-studded project managed by American rapper J Cole’s Dreamville label. The movie was a box office success, and the track has garnered a nomination for an award at the upcoming National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) Image Awards.

Following Ghana’s Black Stars’ defeats against Cape Verde and Mozambique, Black Sherif expressed his sentiments. Reacting to Ghana’s second loss at AFCON 2023, Black Sherif, also known as Blacko, shared various memes on his social media platforms. In response to the 4-0 thrashing by Mozambique, he captioned one of his posts with “embarrassing,” highlighting his disappointment with the team’s performance.
